Black Velvet came into rescue 12 weeks old with 2 siblings. Black Velvet needed a little more time to adapt as she was unsure of humans. She friended other kitties during this process and enjoyed running and playing while in foster care. Today, this sweet mini-panther is quite the charmer. She will slink into your lap before you realize what is going on. She is a purfect addition to movie night to keep you warm as she curls up for a quick nap. Black Velvet loves to sleep up high where she can keep track of everything. When she wakes up from a nap she has this adorable stretch. Both back feet are together when she prepares herself. Then she gives a good long stretches with both feet secured… ahhh. Then one foot comes forward like a yoga lunge. Then she is all set. Black Velvet loves attention and interactive toys. Her favorite are the wand toys. She will run after it competing with the other kitties to get to it first. Black Velvet is a beautiful 1 year old kitty, who is ready for her new family, always dressed to the nines in her little black dress. She needs a family she can depend on to keep her safe and cared for. She would be a wonderful companion to Bonnie who is also looking for a home.
